WBU Owl Cam!

Meet the Owlets, Moss & Maple!

Meet Moss & Maple, our newly-named owlets. Thanks to everyone who voted to name the owlets. Congrats to Linda from Wauwatosa, WI and Dianne from Cincinnati, OH, winners of $50 WBU gift cards.

Moss and Maple are growing fast and recently branched outside of the nest box. Our outside camera now features pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) capabilities, giving us the ability to follow the owlets as they explore beyond the box. We’ll be doing our best to keep eyes on them and share their journey for as long as we can!

Jim Carpenter, Founder and CEO of Wild Birds Unlimited has had an owl box in his backyard since 1998. Owls have nested in his owl box almost every year for the past 16 years. Learn more about the history of the WBU Owl box here.

See below for highlights from previous year's WBU Barred Owl Cam here.
